CLIMB INTO YOUR FATHER'S LAP
Before the beginning of time, God had us each in mind. He had our journey already thought about and carved through the pages of time. Each chapter was written, every mountain climbed, every road charted. Every entrance ramp to put us back on track was already carved out. So before the world was created, God had great-grandmother Estelle, her family and their destiny charted and mapped. And so it is with us. When we were born, angels were assigned to keep, protect, assist and escort us through all times, to our appointed end. When Great grandmother Estelle was born, her talents and gifts were embedded in her DNA. She used the power of the pen to overcome numerous challenges, to encourage her in childbearing years, and turbulent economic times. The pen was her tool to encourage herself, family, and countless others who read her gems in her weekly column in the Oakland Tribune. This gift is benchmarked in her legacy. This is our DNA. This legacy is rooted in our children, cousins and family tree. Each one of us has inherited a box; not necessarily a physical container, but God-designed passions and tools to enrich, empower and impact our families and future generations.
